Cotton on the plant, when my son saw this he said it looks like a candy

Also I have never seen cotton growing in shrubs like this, its always been in trees and these were everywhere in a stretch when we were coming back from the Karwar trip

Its been a weekend full of cooking, strangely a weekend where we haven’t stepped out of the house and eaten meals ranging from wheat dosa & alam chutney, rajma rice, stir fried veggies and home baked garlic bread, puttu and kadla curry and sabudana khichdi..

I think my weekend cooking comes to an end with this hot cup of chai, fragrant flowers from the garden and crisp nippat just off the kadai…

How has your weekend been?

Anyone knows what flower it is? The tree was mostly barren with these red flowers on it… Saw it in karwar again. Never seen it before that

Wonder if that is what this fisherman is pondering while he goes through his catch of the day.

I tried hard to click his face but he was working with so much concentration that he didn’t look up till he finished
